Ukrainian air defense forces on Friday fought off "several waves" of Russian drones targeting Kiev, according to Serhiy Popko, head of the city's military administration.
"All Russian drones that threatened Kiev were detected and neutralized in time on the outskirts of the city and on the territory of the capital," Popko wrote on Telegram, adding that even though some drone debris landed in Kiev's Desnyansky district, there were no reports of "critical destruction, fire or casualties."
