Kiev will transfer some of its cargo controls from the Ukrainian-Polish border to the Lithuania's port city of Klaipeda, which will speed up the transit through the territory of Poland, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mykola Solsky announced on Tuesday.
As part of the agreement with Polish Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Robert Telus and Lithuanian Minister of Agriculture Kyastutis Navickas, Solsky disclosed that Ukraine will transfer the responsibility for veterinary and sanitary inspections of Ukrainian agricultural cargo bound for Lithuania within the next two days.
