The besieged Ukrainian city of Mariupol has been stripped of water, heat and electricity, and its food supplies are almost at an end, the city's mayor Vadym Boychenko stated on Friday.
After five days of relentless Russian attacks, Boychenko made a televised plead for military and humanitarian help, adding that a corridor should be created for the evacuation of the civilian population.
"We are simply being destroyed," Boychenko stressed.
