A police building in the Russian city of Bryansk was damaged following a Ukrainian drone attack on Monday, the region's Governor Alexander Bogomaz said.

"At night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Trubchevsky district. The UAV [unmanned aerial vehicle] was dropped on the building of the district police department," Bogomaz stated in a Telegram post and stressed there were no casualties. "There is damage to the roof and windows. Emergency services are currently on the scene," he added.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed the war is "returning to the territory of Russia," which he said was "an inevitable, natural and absolutely fair process."
