The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed on Friday that 13 Russian drones were shot down out of 24 launched overnight. Additionally, 11 unmanned aerial vehicles were neutralized through electronic warfare, failing to reach their targets.

The attack, starting late December 26, involved two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and Shahed strike drones launched from Russia's Voronezh, Kursk, Orel, and Bryansk regions. The army said defensive operations across Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kiev, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk ensured the missiles and drones caused no major damage.
