Unilever plc revealed on Thursday that its turnover for the first trimester of its fiscal 2023 jumped 7% on an annual basis to reach €14.8 billion. Underlying sales growth came in at 10.5%.
By segment, Personal Care and Nutrition both generated €3.4 billion in turnover, Home Care amounted to €3.2 billion in sales, Beauty and Wellbeing made up €3.1 billion and Ice Cream made up €1.7 billion of the revenue.
"We are continuing to execute well on our strategic priorities. Growth was broad-based across the five Business Groups, underpinned by strong performances from our billion+ Euro brands. We have stepped up both the effectiveness of our innovation and the investment behind our brands," CEO Alan Jope said.
