India, Saudi Arabia to sign energy cooperation deal Monday

India and Saudi Arabia are expected to sign an energy cooperation deal following a scheduled meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday.

The agreement is set to emphasize cooperation in various energy-related areas and get the two nations to commit to strengthening energy ties and promoting sustainable energy practices.

The G20 leaders have already unveiled a comprehensive rail and shipping deal that will connect India with the Middle East and Europe in order to facilitate economic growth between the involved regions.
