Speaking to reporters, Vance also reaffirmed his support for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, saying he had "100% confidence" in his leadership despite recent leaks involving sensitive military information.
The US vice president is currently on a four-day visit to India, where he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a closed-door meeting.
