Dutch Formula One Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has taken the pole position at the Canada Grand Prix qualifications on Saturday, finishing ahead of Alpine's Fernando Alonso and Ferrari's Carlos Sainz.
Furthermore, the fourth place was snatched by Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, followed by Haas's teammates Kevin Magnussen and Mick Schumacher in fifth and sixth, respectively.
"I think today with the tricky conditions we stayed calm, we didn't make mistakes and we had the right calls in Q3. I'm super happy to get the pole position and to be back in Montreal. It's great to see all of the fans," Verstappen said after the race.
