AMF regulatory filing published on Thursday that French mass media conglomerate Vivendi SA increased its stake in media company Lagardere Group from 10.6% to 13.36%.
Vivendi stated it has no further plans of usurping full control of Lagardere. However, the company reserved the right to continue to buy more shares if decided.
Vivendi SA on March said it finalized the sale of a 10% stake in its subsidiary Universal Music Group (UMG) to Chinese conglomerate Tencent Holdings Ltd. for $33 billion.
