National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said on Thursday he will visit Saudi Arabia next weekend, joining representatives from India and the United Arab Emirates to discuss new areas of cooperation in the region.
Sullivan also commented on the relations between Washington and Tehran in a separate statement. He asserted the United States will take necessary action to ensure Iran doesn't acquire a nuclear weapon, however noting the Biden administration is still looking for a diplomatic solution to this issue.
The comments arrived shortly after Israel's claims Iran would be able to threaten any city in the United States and therefore blackmail the US government if it develops a nuclear weapon.
