National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan confirmed on Tuesday the White House was aware of reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin might be preparing to enact mobilization measures amidst the offensive on Ukraine.

However, Sullivan asserted the United States believes Ukraine will continue to push back against Russian efforts to conquer its territory, adding Washington and its allies will stand against Russia's actions.

The official also turned to President Joe Biden's upcoming briefing, stating he will make significant new announcements about investments to address food insecurity. Biden also reiterated the administration's commitments regarding Taiwan, Sullivan concluded.
