White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt commented on Tuesday about the heightened tensions between billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk and United States President Donald Trump's Senior Counselor for Trade and Manufacturing Peter Navarro.

"Whatever. We are the most transparent administration in history, expressing our disagreements in public," she told CNBC.

Musk and Navarro exchanged jabs at one another, with the latter saying that the tech mogul is a simple car seller and doesn't understand how global trade works. In response to this, Musk called Navarro a "moron."
