WH urges Israeli leaders to find compromise

PA-EFE/OLIVER CONTERAS

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Monday applauded Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's decision to postpone the reform of the country's judicial system and urged its leaders to "find" a compromise "as soon as possible."

"We believe that it is the best path forward for Israel and all of its citizens to find this compromise," the White House press secretary stressed during the regular press conference. "US support for Israeli security and democracy remains ironclad, and that is continuing to be the case," Jean-Pierre added.
