United States National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan remarked on Wednesday at a press briefing that in the next two months, the Biden administration will signal to Congress that it would like to see "additional funds for Ukraine for 2025."

Further support will help Kiev be in "the best possible position and the strongest possible position to negotiate, to ensure their objectives, [and] win at the negotiating table," he explained.

Sullivan underlined that incumbent President Joe Biden will spend all the finances Congress already approved for Ukraine before he passes the baton onto President-elect Donald Trump.
