The prices of oil futures continued to move in a downward trend on Monday as the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas carried on with more hostages released in the meantime, providing more frail stability for the region.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for January's settlements dropped by 1.92% at 6:02 am ET to sell for $74.08 per barrel. At that minute, Brent for the same month's deliveries fell by 1.77% to go for $79.14 per barrel.
