The prices of oil futures dropped further on Wednesday following the latest EIA report.
Crude oil stockpiles in the United States surged by 7.3 million barrels, coming in at 460.9 million barrels in the week ending April 26.
WTI for deliveries in June slid 3.09% at 11:38 am ET and went for $79.44 per barrel. A minute later, Brent for July settlements plunged 2.70% to sell for $83.88 per barrel.
