Markets on Wall Street ended Thursday's session flat to lower amid fears of a recession in the United States. JPMorgan predicted the country is set to enter a "mild recession" in 2023 and Treasury yields jumped amid signals from Fed officials the central bank will continue hiking interest rates in order to bring inflation down.
The Dow Jones closed flat.
The Nasdaq 100 was down 0.19%. The worst performer was Atlassian, whose shares tumbled 5.86%.
The S&P 500 declined 0.30%. West Pharmaceutical Services led the losses, dropping 7.57%.
The euro lost 0.28% against the dollar to sell for 1.03680 at 3:59 pm ET.
