Major stock exchanges in the United States traded flat to lower on Tuesday as investors anticipated the first trading day of September as the markets were closed yesterday due to the Labor Holiday. The week will be packed with economic data, with the most anticipated release being the nonfarm payrolls coming on Friday.
Both the Nasdaq 100 and the S&P 500 stood flat at 4:20 am ET. At the same time, the Dow Jones dipped 0.20%.
The euro traded 0.14% below the dollar, selling for 1.10561 at 10:21 am ET.
