Most stock exchanges in the United States were below the flatline ahead of the trading session on Friday after Apple Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri's forecast for the ongoing quarter seemingly disappointed investors yesterday after the company released its fourth-trimester earnings report. Apple's shares traded 3% lower in premarket trade.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average index was flat, the Nasdaq 100 lost 0.34% and the S&P 500 was down 0.14% at 4:12 am ET.
The euro was 0.08% higher compared to the US dollar, changing hands for 1.06302 a minute later.
