Wall Street starts week mixed as earnings season heats up

Markets in the United States opened mixed on Monday as investors geared up for a week of earnings, including reports from more banks, as well as Netflix and Tesla.

The Dow Jones added 0.11% at 9:30 am ET. The best performer was Intel, up 1.21%.

The Nasdaq 100 lost 0.20% at 9:30 am ET. ASML Holdings, down 4.21%, led the losses.

The S&P 500 was down 0.07% at 9:30 am ET with State Street Cosporation plunging 15.28%.

The euro fell 0.41% against the dollar to go for 1.09484 at 9:31 am ET.
