Walmart Inc., an American multinational retail corporation, is allegedly in talks to buy Vizio Inc., an American smart television manufacturer, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

According to the report, the acquisition deal is worth more than $2B, noting that the negotiations on this matter are ongoing, and the deal may not happen at all.

It was also explained that Walmart is known as Vizio's largest customer, while Vizio, on the other hand, is "the largest television brand sold at Walmart by sales."
