Warner Bros Discovery Inc. said on Thursday that its total revenues for the fourth quarter of 2022 landed at $11 billion, falling 11% on a pro from combined basis compared to the same period a year earlier.
Net loss stood at $2.1 billion, or $0.86 per diluted share and operating loss was $1.9 billion. For full-fiscall 2022, the company's revenues amounted to $33.8 billion and net loss hit $7.4 billion, or $3.82 per share.
"With the major restructuring decisions behind us, this year we are focused on building and growing our businesses for the future, and we're off to a great start. We're seeing strong momentum across the enterprise, including our exciting long-term plans for DC Studios, the historic success of our latest HBO series The Last of Us, the significant financial and operating gains in DTC, and the record sales of our newest game Hogwarts Legacy," CEO David Zaslav stated.
Warner Bros Discovery's shares slid 3.37% in after-hours trading on disappointing results.
