Warner Music Group and Spotify announced on Thursday a multi-year agreement to expand music streaming and enhance artist revenues.
The deal covers recorded music and publishing and introduces a direct licensing model for Warner Chappell Music in several new markets, including the US. The partnership focuses on creating new fan experiences, expanding the music and video catalog, and introducing additional paid subscription tiers.
"For Spotify, 2025 is a year of accelerated execution, and our partners at Warner Music Group share our commitment to rapid innovation and sustained investment in our leading music offerings," Daniel Ek, Spotify's Founder and CEO, said.
