United States Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff is set to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on April 25, CNN reported on Wednesday, citing a US official.
The report confirms the previous statement by Putin's foreign policy aide, Yuri Ushakov, who claimed that Witkoff will return to Moscow for another round of talks with the Russian president after the two held 4.5-hour talks two weeks ago.
The meeting between the US and Russian officials will follow today's meeting between Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg with the Ukrainian delegation in London, after US State Secretary Marco Rubio decided not to attend.
