Chinese President Xi Jinping and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron agreed that the way to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip could be the implementation of a two-state solution, China Central Television reported on Monday.
According to the report, the two presidents discussed the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in a telephone conversation, emphasizing the importance of preventing further deterioration of the situation between the two sides, particularly avoiding a more serious humanitarian crisis.
Last week, Turkish and German Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Frank-Walter Steinmeier agreed that the two-state solution is the only way to resolve the current crisis.
