Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed on Thursday Beijing's readiness to cooperate with the Arab countries toward maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East.

Speaking at the China-Arab States Summit, Xi also noted the importance of that collaboration to find a solution to the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Furthermore, Xi confirmed China will host the 2026 edition of the summit.
