Xiaomi's market cap above GM, Ford after EV launch

Xiaomi Corporation's market capitalization surpassed $50 billion on Tuesday following the launch of the company's first electric vehicle (EV), the Speed Ultra 7 (SU7).

At the moment, Xiaomi's market cap is estimated to be $53.70 billion, which puts it above, among others, the Ford Motor Company at $52.8 billion and General Motors Company (GM) at $52.41 billion.

During today's, Xiaomi's shares jumped by more than 16% at their session high.
