Linda Yaccarino, the newly appointed CEO of Twitter Inc., expressed her excitement to join the social media platform, stating that she is looking forward to transforming the company's business.
"I've long been inspired by your vision to create a brighter future. I'm excited to help bring this vision to Twitter," Yaccarino said in a tweet addressed to Elon Musk, the company's owner.
Musk previously said that choosing a new Twitter chief executive would free him up to devote more time to managing Tesla Inc.'s operations. He also said that Yaccarino will occasionally engage the public in a live conversation on the platform's service Spaces.
