United States Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen (pictured) and Chinese Vice-Premier Liu He talked about the macroeconomic and financial developments in the two countries, supply chain issues as well as the global economic outlook, China's Commerce Ministry said.

The US side expressed its concern about the impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on the global economy as well as Beijing's "unfair" non-market economic practices, while Liu raised issues of concern about Washington's treatment of China's enterprises.

In what was their first virtual talk since October, the two officials agreed to strengthen communication with Yellen noting she is looking forward to their future discussions.
