Several hundred yellow vest protesters clashed with the police in Brussels during the final day of voting in the European Parliament elections, local media reported on Sunday.
The police attempted to move the protesters, which have been demonstrating for 28 consecutive weeks, from the Gare du Nord where they gathered, reportedly because they did not have the permission to be at the square.
According to the reports, the authorities used pepper spray and batons in front of protesters.
