The chief of South Korea's Presidential Security Service (PSS) Park Chong-jun and his deputy Kim Seong-hoon ignored police requests to appear for questioning concerning the ongoing legal case against impeached President Yoon Suk-yeol.
According to Yonhap News, the two officials said they could not leave their posts due to the ongoing security situation in the aftermath of the Corruption Intelligence Office (CIO) aborting its attempt to execute an arrest warrant against Yoon on Friday.
On the other hand, the PSS said the officials were in talks with the police to reschedule the questioning.
