Yoon, Sunak talk advancing bilateral cooperation

South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on the sidelines of the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Hiroshima expressed their hope to enhance cooperation in nuclear power and technology, Yonhap reported citing Yoon's office.

Yoon reportedly emphasized the significance of the summit and requested Prime Minister Sunak's interest in expanding cooperation in nuclear power, establishing a digital partnership, and strengthening cooperation in cybersecurity, while Sunak expressed his desire for close collaboration with Seoul in terms of energy, defense and semiconductors.
