South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol said North Korea will see no benefits from using nuclear weapons, the Yonhap news agency reported.

"North Korea is steadily developing and advancing its nuclear weapons and threatening not only the Republic of Korea but the world, but I believe it has nothing to gain from nuclear weapons," Yoon was quoted as saying a day after Pyongyang admitted to conducting "tactical nuke" drills that simulate attacking the South.

North Korea recently increased the number of missile tests, even launching an intermediate-range ballistic missile over Japan for the first time since 2017.
