South Korea's President Yoon Suk-yeol will visit the United States on April 24 to hold a summit with his US counterpart Joe Biden and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the bilateral alliance, Yonhap News Agency reported.
The summit is reportedly set to take place on April 26 at the White House following an official welcoming ceremony, and Yoon will also attend a state dinner that evening.
A day after his arrival, Yoon is expected to deliver an address before a joint session of Congress and have lunch with Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Vice President Kamala Harris. Later in the day, he will reportedly receive a briefing from US military leaders. The next day, Yoon will travel to Boston and hold discussions with digital and bio scholars at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as deliver an address at Harvard University.
