Russian Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Sunday defended Russia's support for the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip, stressing that it is more than just a formal gesture.
In a recent statement to the Arabic TV channel Al Mayadeen, Zakharova noted that Moscow provides both humanitarian and political assistance and is committed to resolving the crisis in the region. She emphasized the importance of concrete actions over mere words, particularly when it comes to aiding the children of Gaza.
"The children of Gaza need to be helped with actions, not words," she reportedly said.
