Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday that Moscow is not worried about possible new sanctions that might be imposed by the United States in case regions of Ukraine become a part of the Russian Federation.
''The White House's mistake is that the United States has introduced and is introducing "new sanctions" even without the regions of Ukraine becoming part of Russia,'' Zakharova stressed on her Telegram channel, adding that the threat did not reach its goal this time. ''On the contrary, it strengthened the determination to act according to the planned course,'' she explained.
Yesterday, the US said it has a way to put an end to Russia's offensive in Ukraine and knows how to stop it from annexing its parts.
