Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday in his evening video address a curfew has been imposed throughout the Easter night, emphasizing it is important to follow the rule due to security threats.
The president noted the curfew will end in the morning at 5 o'clock and asked his compatriots to attend the Easter service "only in the morning."
The decision follows the recent missile attack in the city of Odessa, despite the United Nations' proposal to halt the Russian military operation following the Orthodox Easter weekend.
