Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a "very good" meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MbS), said Dmytro Lytvyn, the Ukrainian leader's advisor, according to CNN.

Zelensky arrived in Saudi Arabia on Monday ahead of Tuesday's talks with officials from Ukraine and the United States on the war with Russia. "The theme is clear: peace as soon as possible, security as reliable as possible. Ukraine is determined to be very constructive," Zelensky said last week.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he hopes the meeting on Tuesday will "go well" and thanked MbS for once again hosting the US "in talks to help resolve the Ukraine war and secure a lasting peace."
