Zelensky sends condolences to China after floods

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his condolences and support to Chinese President Xi Jinping and the people of China following the floods that have caused significant human and material losses.

"I extend my heartfelt condolences and support to President Xi Jinping and the Chinese people for the destructive flood that led to human casualties. I wish a speedy recovery for the injured and a swift restoration of the ruined infrastructure," Zelensky's message read.

Some 13 rivers exceeded alert levels in the Haihe basin, which includes Beijing, Tianjin, and Shijiazhuang after the remnants of Typhoon Doksuri passed through China.
