Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday that he will discuss the partial ceasefire with United States President Donald Trump later today. He added that he expected to be briefed on Trump's call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Speaking at a press conference, Zelensky said Russia's statements are "very different from reality" and that it is "not ready to put an end to the war." As part of the ceasefire deal, Putin agreed yesterday to stop strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure, but Zelensky claimed that "150 drones struck energy infrastructure and transport" during the night.

Zelensky insisted Ukraine needs more support for its defense in order to put "pressure on Russia for the sake of security and saving people's lives." He repeated Kiev will not recognize Russian sovereignty over its occupied territories, stressing it is a "red line" in peace negotiations.
