Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his evening address on Thursday that 10 million Ukrainians are without electricity following Russia's recent attacks.
Zelensky noted that cities including the capital Kiev, as well as Sumy, Odessa and Vinnitsa, are affected and urged NATO to "close the Ukrainian skies as soon as possible and provide us with more air defense systems."
Earlier, United States Army General and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley reiterated Washington will support Kiev "for as long as it takes" and noted Ukraine needs an "integrated air and missile defense system" to "repel Russian attacks."
