Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in his evening video address on Thursday that since the start of the Russian military operations, 446 children were injured, 243 died and 139 went missing.

Zelensky also accused Moscow of fostering total contempt for human individuality: "The Russian state despises even its own citizens so much that they do not understand the value of human life at all. Russian soldiers kill and die themselves as if they were not people, but just dust. Dust under the feet of the owners of Russia."

Zelensky noted that the Ukrainian principle that "every person matters" will remain unshaken, as he underlined it is the main thing that separates the Ukrainian people from the Russian occupiers.
