Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Tuesday that Ukrainian forces have successfully secured 74 communities in the Kursk region, despite facing challenging and intense battles.
In X, Zelensky emphasized the significance of this achievement while remaining in constant communication with Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi to monitor the situation on the frontline. “… [Here,] inspections and stabilization measures are being carried out. The development of humanitarian solutions for these territories continues,” he said.
In addition, he expressed gratitude to the soldiers for their “heroic service” and highlighted that the state's "exchange fund" is growing as preparations continue for future operations.
