Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday that the Russian army's continued attacks on Ukraine's energy sites show that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin is not even interested in ensuring the partial ceasefire agreement made with the help of the United States.
"Russian strikes with aerial bombs are also ongoing – only against our Sumy region and only between yesterday and this morning, the Russians used almost 50 guided aerial bombs," Zelensky said in a post on Telegram."Such a systematic and constant nature of Russian strikes clearly shows that Moscow despises the diplomatic efforts of its partners. Putin does not want to ensure even a partial ceasefire," he added.
The Ukrainian President also urged for "new and tangible" pressure on Moscow, claiming that it is important to act "as soon as possible" in order to "put this war on a course to completion."
