Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday that his country and its allies must ensure a victory against Russia before the end of the year.
Zelensky thanked American President Joe Biden for the "vital" support Kiev has been receiving from Washington and for "rallying the world" to help his country. "Together we are heading towards a common victory, and we must ensure it this year already!" Zelenskyu stated in a tweet.
Earlier this week, Biden visited Kiev to express Washington's continuous support for Ukraine ahead of the anniversary of the start of the war. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a speech today, vowing to continue the military operation in Ukraine , claiming the West started the war and Moscow is now "using force to end it."
