Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on Tuesday the company's latest virtual reality (VR) headset, the Meta Quest Pro.
Zuckerberg noted the Quest Pro is the first in the company's new line of advanced headsets that will help users feel "more present" in virtual environments. The headset features sensors that can track facial movements, enabling avatars to mimic expressions in real time. The Meta CEO also described the headset as a "high-end device designed for work."
The company noted the Meta Quest Pro will cost $1,499 and will start shipping on October 25.
