Adidas AG reported on Wednesday that its net sales grew by 24% to €5.96 billion during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024.
The company's operating profit landed at €57 million compared to the €377 million loss from the fourth quarter a year earlier. Net loss attributable to shareholders stood at €39 million in comparison to the year before when it came to €379 million, while diluted loss per share from continuing and discontinued operations were at €0.22, improving 90% in comparison to the same three-month period a year prior. For the full 2025, Adidas projects its operating profit to be between €1.7 billion and €1.8 billion.
"I am very pleased the way the fourth quarter and the full year developed for us at adidas. We grew double digits in 2024 (+12% currency-neutral) and improved our operating profit by more than €1 billion to € 1.337 billion. This development was much better than we had expected, and we are of course very pleased with this," CEO Bjorn Gulden mentioned.
