Allianz SE revealed on Thursday that its total revenue landed at €39.6 billion in the second quarter of the fiscal 2023, going up by 5.9% from the corresponding timeframe the year before.
The company's net income attributable to shareholders soared by 22.9% to €2.5 billion in the reported quarter. Operating profit went up by 7.1% on an annual basis to €3.8 billion, while its diluted earnings per share surged 25.6% to €5.97. For the entire fiscal year, the Munich-based corporation projected its operating profit to land at €14.2 billion.
"Allianz's excellent results in the first half of 2023 demonstrate the strength of our fundamentals as we capitalize on our global scale and diversified business mix for the benefit of our customers and our shareholders," Chief Executive Officer Oliver Baeta said.
