Allianz SE announced Wednesday an increase in quarterly gains in the third quarter of its fiscal 2024, with its revenues increasing by 17.3% to €42.8 billion, surpassing analysts' estimates.
The net income attributable to Allianz shareholders jumped 23.0% at €2.5 billion compared to the year prior. The company's operating profit witnessed a 13.6% boost to €3.9 billion, while its core earnings per share (EPS) reached €6.54, skyrocketing by 23%. For the full 2024 operating profit, the company kept its guidance at €14.8 billion, plus or minus €1 billion.
"Allianz continued our strong performance through the third quarter, achieving strong growth in business volume, operating profit, and net income, while reinforcing our financial strength … Our fast-growing brand value underscores our ability to translate customer-centricity into profitable growth for our shareholders," CEO Oliver Bate noted.
